Flexible Benefits Program

Continuum’s flex benefits program is offered to our eligible non-union associates. This program gives associates the flexibility to choose the benefits and coverage levels that are right for their personal lifestyles and family situations. Plans include:

Continuum subsidizes the cost of medical/prescription drug coverage, dental coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance and life insurance for eligible non-union associates. You share the cost for most plans noted with before tax dollars.

Our Union associates receive benefits according to their collective bargaining unit agreement.

Pension/Retirement Plans

A workplace savings plan is the key to meeting your most important goals, including being financially ready to retire. All associates may voluntarily contribute tax-deferred monies to the Continuum 403(b) Plan. In addition, non-union associates may be eligible for employer contributions.

Holidays, Vacations & Sick Time

In addition to 8 paid holidays per year, non-union associates are eligible for vacation time based on job classification and length of service. Non-union associates also accrue 12 sick days annually. Accrued sick time allows associates to receive regular salary for a period of time should illness or injury prevent you from working.

Tuition Reimbursement

Reimbursement for tuition is available for regular, full-time associates (with at least six months of continuous service) who are interested in furthering their education and enhancing their skills. Credited courses that are relevant to an employee’s current position or career development at Continuum are reimbursed if they meet the criteria under the tuition reimbursement program.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a safe harbor where eligible associates can address personal, family or work-related issues and regain perspective ad productivity.

Voluntary Benefits Program

The plans and programs available under the Voluntary Benefits Program are intended to give associates an opportunity to better address their individual needs. Plans include:

  • Qualified Transportation Expense Benefit – optional salary deductions allow you to pay for eligible commuting expenses with before tax dollars.
  • Voluntary life, disability and cancer insurance – paid through convenient payroll deductions.
  • Group Legal Plan – provides services such as legal advice via telephone; review of legal documents, contracts, leases, etc.; preparing wills and will updates; health care proxy; living will; and an emergency 24 hour hotline for individuals confronted with a situation that requires vimmediate legal advice.
  • Long Term Care Insurance – designed to help associates plan for the unexpected and help protect you against the high cost of care and services associated with a severe illness, injury or supervision due to a cognitive impairment.

Associate Discount Program

The program provides opportunities for associates to take advantage of discounts for items such as theater tickets, amusement park admissions, clothing, restaurants, hotels and rental cars.
